The Municipal Art Institute (Städelsches Kunstinstitut) is a
world-famous art gallery located in Frankfurt Germany. Sometimes
called the Städel Museum, the Institute contains some 2700 paintings
and 600 sculptures by artists such as Holbein, Cranach, Botticelli, Dürer,
Rembrandt, Monet, Cézanne, van Eyck and Vermeer.
The Frankfurt Municipal Art Institute is located on the
Museum Embankment.
