The Frankfurt International Airport (also called the Rhein-Main-Flughafen
or Flughafen Frankfurt am Main) is located in the German state of Hesse near Frankfurt
am Main. The airport is situated 12 kilometres from the Frankfurt city
centre.
Frankfurt Airport has excellent access to the German autobahn (highway)
system. It is conveniently located near the intersection of two main
autobahns: the A3 and A5.
